  I was just telling the two postal workers on duty how much better it is coming here compared to most other post offices in the area. I figured since the majority of people take the time to write about bad experiences that it wouldn't hurt to take a few minutes to say thank you to a job well done. My girlfriend has kind of an e-commerce business on the side and since she works from home I usually drop off her packages, so I have to go to the PO almost every day to drop them off and get a receipt. Depending on my day I sometimes have to go to other branches amd I have to say that the difference compared to most is pretty substantial. As opposed to most other branches, the wait times are pretty minimal and the staff is pretty cheerful and genuinely seem to appreciate the customers who walk through the door. Its usually the same woman who works most days. I dont know her name, but she is usually there most days around 11 or so when I come in. She is great and a pleasure to work with. Always very nice, always very pleasant and im guessing is good at her job because even with a line the wait time is pretty short. Unfortunately this is not the case with most other PO's (rocky hill is also pretty good). The wait times can be absolutely insane at times and the staff look miserable and almost make you feel guilty for walking in the door and inconveniencing them with your business. So thank you Cromwell Post Office and thank you to the woman who works most days. You rock and you always make coming there quick and easy. And I will make an effort to smile more even though I am smiling on the inside haha.

  Certified mail doesn’t get delivered and you don’t get a refund. Mail doesn’t get delivered after 2 months and so on. Not friendly workers. You hate to ask a question. They keep sending mail that isn’t mine and you tell them but they keep sending. You return mail that isn’t yours and they don’t even say thank you. Aweful!

  12/20/2023: I went to this usps location ( Cromwell) today along with my wife for change of address identity verification for in person. The usps staff who deal with us was very very worst behavior. Also he said that we all set with the identity verification and he said that we will receive email for the same. But when we came out and checking the email, it looks like he rejected the identity verification with out informing us. I don’t have option to give 0 rating, so that I am giving 1. Please don’t go to this usps location, immediately I went to Rocky hill usps office and their customer approach was too good.

  The most miserable place to go. They are Incredibly rude and inconsiderate. UPS takes USPS and are always helpful. Please consider taking your business there before you deal with these incompetent rude people.
