- DLDustin LaroseJun 10, 20201.0A package was delivered to me while I was at work to my home and left on the porch by fedex, which I payed shipping for, The Brooklyn postal carrier for my area took it upon himself to take the package off of my porch and write me a receipt saying I owe postage and they will be holding on to my package until I pay it to them I haven’t mailed anything out ever from my address to even owe postage so what is it I owe postage for I wondered and because I get out of work after the post office closes I tried to call customer service and was on hold for an hour in which I inevitably just hung up because it was apparent nobody was going to answer so I did some research and abc did a news article on how USPS around the country have been bait and switching people on packages delivered by other carriers taking them saying that they are owed postage for the delivery of that package the one they didn’t deliver just took off my porch I’m sad to see Brooklyn Ct postal workers are trying to pull a fast one over hard working people
