- CCCliffFeb 10, 20261.0Zero. I would give it zero stars if I could. 1) Multiple times we'd find a "Sorry we missed you" slip in our mailbox on days when we were home. That slip is to be attached front doors as proof that an attempt to deliver was actually made. In other words, the person who filled out that form lied and didn't want to take an extra five minutes to drive an extra 200 feet to our front door. 2) Whenever (and I mean always) when I call the Avon post office I hear a message stating that someone will pick up the call as soon as possible only to---after waiting on hold for several minutes--be disconnected. Judging from the other horror stories online about the abysmal overall service at the Avon branch someone needs to be fired. Or, since no one is every fired for poor management or service from a government job, the manager in charge needs to be reassigned to Fairbanks, Alaska.

On numerous occasions I have received mail addressed to others (just the house number was correct). Are these people literate? This time, the item I ordered from Amazon didn't arrive at my mail box however, searching the tracking number indicates that the package was delivered.

When I voiced in the branch I wanted to file a former complaint about this employee hanging up on me 4x!! (Inquiring about an undeliverable package) I had no questions answered, no help at all. This woman is horrid. This will not improve here until she is no longer the POST MASTER. Can't even believe someone with such terrible customer service is the manager of all. I was told I couldn't file a complaint because of that. I filed online through the government website instead!
