Staff was very rude and unhelpful, was told by this location that EDDM program standards vary from location to location. Apparently there’s no universal standard for sizing or customer service in a federally funded organization

This post office on 104tj and federal is completely incompetent. 14 people waiting in line and 1 employee. Choose any other office, it's not worth your time to come here.

Today I walked in the post office to mail a box . There was one lady ahead of me and two postal workers , Raj was one worker and an older woman with lighter color hair was the other , didn’t know her name . She called the lady ahead of me up who had a quick transaction . Now I am the only one standing in line while Raj is still helping his customer . Instead of helping me she decides it’s a good time to change shifts knowing it’s going to take a while . So the next employee coming to replace her decides it’s also good time for them to catch up and chat . They just stood there a while whispering to each other . They were in no hurry what so ever . Neither one acknowledged me .They could have said hello , be with you soon. They ignored me . I was fuming because she intentionally left me standing there instead of quickly helping me before changing shifts . She wouldn’t even look at me because she knew I was mad . Raj that works there is good but his co worker on Dec 29th needs a refresher on customer service or she needs to retire .

We have lived at this address for 10 years now and have not experienced any problems with lost packages until 2021 for some reasonable. Since 2021, many of my packages have been marked as "Delivered and in Mailbox" BUT these packages are not in our mail box. This problem has affected about 1/4 of our total yearly tracked mail and packages that come our way. I have notified this location about this problem in 2023 after a big order was lost, was told to leave my information with the manager and they would contact me again but I never heard from them. Then in 2025, I lost TWO important packages that contained birthday gifts for my little nephews in July. I came in, and was told the same procedure, leave your information but now they had me fill out a "Name and Address Registry" form that should have "updated" the address with our names to try to resolve this problem, which I filled out both and left gave them to the staff. Mind you, none of our names have changed since we moved into this house. Fast-forward to November where once again, I lost another big order (that was marked as "Delivered and in Mailbox") that was meant as Christmas Gifts for those same little nephews. While my father also lost a birthday money gift from a friend as well. Up to date (since this problem started in 2021), our family have lost close to 125 dollars worth of packages YEARLY (totaling to 375 by 2024) and this year alone, we have lost 250 dollars worth of packages and gifts. I have gone to this location to talk to them, once again, "leave your information and the manager out-back will reach out to help you within a week". The worker even told me that the address I was living at, has been tagged with notes from my prior in-person visits about packages being lost as well as the recent name changes. It has been 9-10 days, and I have been left in the dark the same manner that I was back in 2023, July 2025 and just as I am while writing this review. Please help us do something about this. We literally have friends recommending us to start sending our important mails directly to them where another post office can service it so we don't have to go through the same pains as what this one has given us. I know this post office does a good job with other people's lost/non-delivered packages but for me, I am saddened by the lack of professionalism and communication that our family have experienced.
