  I went to pick up a package this morning that said it was available for pick up at this post office, and was asked by Stacey if I wanted her to pull the package out of her behind for more appropriate language. She then walked away from me so I could not find out where my package was or what was happening. There was even a large man with facial hair who laughed at me when I asked what she had said because I was nothing but respectful to her the entire time and didn’t feel like I deserved to be talked down to or disrespected like that. Extremely horrible behavior!

  So...Stacey is actually the person who helped me get my PO Box after MONTHS of waiting. She and Will and the other postal person are nice and work hard to get things done in a timely manner. They are overworked and understaffed and I have seen countless people be rude to them because they (the customer) haven't followed the correct Postal procedures and expect to get their mail anyway. And then they argue with Stacy about why they aren't getting their mail. She doesn't make the Postal rules...she just has to follow them because it is her job. Many times I have received packages that did not have my box number on it and they have taken care of it for me! The real issue is that we have no mail service/delivery on this mountain and so everyone is reliant on them to get their mail. They have plenty of mail that builds up because people don't live here full-time and so property managers pick up their mail, not on a regular basis, so things pile up. Couple that with the fact that we don't have any big box stores to purchase items from and so people utilize the postal service for every delivery. I ship as many things as possible via UPS and FedEx however some vendors only utilize USPS. The postal struggle is real here in the Valley and will not change so people will need to readjust their expectations and not be so rude and entitled. We live in a place that is incredible, but not perfect and there are some adjustments that need to be made by people; this isn't the big city where Amazon delivers in 2 hours. You get a lot more from people when you treat them with respect.

  The woman who works at the post office is so rude and deceitful. We came many times to get a package, gave her the tracking number and politely asked not to send it back. Sometimes the packages were very important to our family. She responded rudely and sent it back every time on purpose. The worst service in the valley. In Aspen, all the employees always helped with the same request, never refused. I don't understand how she still works there?????

  Great local post office. These guys have to deal with big swings in traffic, and so the lines can be long, since we do not have local delivery here. They try to bypass the line for simple stuff like package pickups, know the boxholders, and keep moving things along. I like them.
