When Chastity starts addressing me with a snarky tone when I was asking a question, then raises her voice, talks over me, a customer trying to explain the real issues, then accuses me of yelling and hangs up (because I was trying to stop her because she was yelling about something that wasnt even the issue) and refuses to listen to the actual problems then causes MORE problems at another post office with misinformation because she refused to listen, you know you hired the wrong person for the Postmaster job.
ALL OF THE EMPLOYEES at this location HAVE HAD A TERRIBLE ATTITUDE one time or another!
Tammy the carrier is passive aggressive with delivery of mail, I believe she has cut open a package and stolen some things and I know for a fact she has sent things back instead of forwarding to PO Box and threatened to send things back again.
Not sure why these people don't understand their job is customer service.
I have recordings on the interactions. Nobody needs an attitude or hassle when they are just trying to get their mail and I didn't even want to complain but this is not okay.
I always try to play nice with everyone but this nasty attitude and mail tampering is not acceptable.

If you are expecting a friendly smile from Fern or good customer service then you are at the
wrong post office. I do a lot of volume through this post office primarily with books. Nine times out of ten when I walk through the door Fern gives me a look like I just pooped on her shiny linoleum. Today was no different. She glared at me from behind her desk and did not even bother to stand up to greet me as a customer. My P.O box would not open and because of her disinterested demeanor I left the post office in a fury. The last time I checked, working for the postal service was something that was to be regarded as a public service paid for by my tax dollars. If the employees and that office cannot treat their customers with some level of professionalism regardless of their personal feelings then they need to find employment where they do not have to deal with the public. I am outraged at her behavior and it is probably a good thing that I left the way I did because I was ready to say some very unkind things directly to her face. The city of Simla deserves a smile and customer service that represents our community and the government. My daughter just brought to my attention as well that if you call them they do not answer the phone . So if you're looking for assistance , you're looking in the wrong place . Small town does not mean lazy . Small town should be reflective of the best that America has to offer . If you're looking for that in the Simla post office you will not find it . I hope the postmaster will speak to this employee about her demeanor and I hope that she learns something from this encounter. Sign me really angry
