This PO is staffed w amazingly patient and caring people in spite of constantly being short staffed and overworked. Ryan is a real asset to the entire community serviced by this USPS.

If it were possible to give zero stars, I would seriously consider it. My roommate and I reserved a P.O. Box online through the USPS website and followed all the instructions provided. When we arrived at the post office to activate the box, the employee at the front desk told us there was no P.O. Box set up for that day—which was confusing, as we had completed the reservation online. He told us to come back the next day. When we returned, the atmosphere was unprofessional—two employees at the counter were arguing with each other, and the woman who assisted us seemed unsure of how to activate the P.O. Box. Eventually, the manager, Ryan, stepped in. He assigned us a P.O. Box that already had someone else’s mail in it, which was both concerning and confusing. On top of that, he charged us another $188—even though we had already paid that amount during the online reservation. No clear explanation was given for the duplicate charge, other than a vague instruction to contact USPS Customer Service for a refund, and that the refund should take no more than 1-3 business days. We were also told that the box we were being given wasn’t technically “reservable,” but that he was going to assign it to us anyway. Again, this made little sense. The communication throughout the entire process was unclear and contradictory. After leaving the post office, we immediately called USPS Customer Service, as instructed. However, the representative told us that refunds do not take 1–3 business days, and even more confusingly, she claimed that our online payment of $188 had not posted—despite the fact that my bank statement clearly shows the charge went through. At this point, we’ve followed all the steps asked of us, only to be misinformed, charged twice, and left unsure whether our P.O. Box is even functional. This has been an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience, and we still don’t have clarity on whether we’ll receive mail at this box—or ever see a refund. Very disappointing.

The best post office staff. If you were in this post office and the little man was recording you his YouTube channel is amagansett press. You have all rights to file a privacy complaint to YouTube and the video has to be altered or taken down. And the other camera there is watching the watchmen. Both of those channels.

Consistently poor service and revolving door of employees who do not receive the training they need or know how to preform their job in

Horrible Post Office staff and even worst of a Postmaster. They will violate rights, lie, worst of all think that they are the authority over a federally funded and protected building. Please remember, you can’t make up your own rules when it violates someone’s constitutionally protected rights. Especially on federal property.
