It’s the post office—not exactly known for speed, efficiency, or perfect timing. But nothing runs on time here, and if that’s a problem, you’re probably in the wrong place. Try Denver or the Springs. What makes this one work is the person behind the counter. Yvette is one of the kindest, most hardworking people I’ve ever met. She handles it all, alone every day, for a town of a thousand and probably half the county too. She does it with patience, grace, and a sense of humor. The system might be flawed, but she shows up anyway. So cut her some slack. Thank you, Yvette. You make it better.

The laziest and most incompetent group of individuals to ever work in one place, definitely government level work. My mail has NEVER been placed in my PO box on time, usually a WEEK after arrival in San Luis, does it finally make its way to my mailbox.

This is the only USPS office that actually answers the phone... HOWEVER... when the phone is answered, it's always answered by someone who sounds like they are forced to be there, and is inconvenienced to do anything for anyone. Might as well not even be open.
