- TMTish MorenoFeb 24, 20235.0After a year's struggle to get a PO Box at this station, the new Postmaster, Lisa, handed me the keys today. Lisa and her clerk were very pleasant & helpful. Unlike the former Postmaster, Darlene, who told me I would get a PO Box in 20 years although she had PO Boxes available the entire time. After using the USPS complaint & FOIA processes, Darlene opted to kick rocks into retirement instead of handing out PO Box keys. Good riddance, Darlene! I'm sure the reviews for the Rye post office will now be better than the 1 star reviews received while Darlene had her stronghold over this postal station. Darlene wasted the time of her community members & promoted USPS revenue losses by not allowing the PO boxes to be rented to people she "doesn't know." She made Rye look bad. Onward...I'm sure Postmaster, Lisa, will do extremely well!
