Maybe the best post office experience I have ever had. Disclaimer is wasn't very busy and I didnt have anything to complicated.
But I dont think I have ever been in out so efficiently ever. The guy working the counter called me over as soon as I got in. Was thorough but efficient asking everything they have to but working quickly. In and out in 5 minutes.

If I could give negative stars I would do so. I shipped a package with priority mail on the 17th of December. It did not arrive until the 27th. This alone is enough, but was not the primary problem. The box arrived damaged and had been opened and re-taped. I had mailed 6 canisters and one box of cookies. One canister holding a dozen and a half cookies was missing from the box. All other canisters were damaged, cratered, dinged, banged up. Furthermore, there was a box of peppermints placed inside the main box. These were not mine! Thus, another disappointed customer is missing an item from their shipment.
Last year I used UPS and thought I would save money by using our federal postal service this year. My mistake. I will return to UPS despite the additional cost.
In my attempts to file a complaint I found the website to be completely non user friendly, requiring compressed files and documentation one does not always possess regarding the value of the items shipped, especially if said items are handmade. I spent hours baking and packaging these cookies from a recipe passed down from my great grandmother. This is something I do annually.
They certainly make it extraordinarily difficult to file a complaint. One would hypothesize this difficulty is presented purposefully to dissuade customers from filing a formal complaint.

The staff does what they can at the counter, but they're only really helpful and friendly when there's no line. When they're swamped with people, it's anyone's guess how the service will be. Not their fault, most likely, but still. 3 stars. Getting in and out of the parking lot is a nightmare and at busy times traffic always backs up on to 29th street creating a real mess. It's been this way since this location opened, so why hasn't someone figured out a better way to handle the traffic? Luckily, mail traffic is declining, so maybe the problem will fix itself, except at Christmas. 1 star. The delivery out of this office is terrible. No telling who gets our mail somedays as we get someone else's. Many days the driver just drives past our box when we know we're awaiting a delivery. Luckily, as I said, mail is declining. 1 Star. Average = 1.6.

The staff tries their best, they were pretty nice. But severely understaffed. Two people working the counters at 1 PM, about 15 people in line waiting. They were going as fast as they could manage, but its 100% managements fault for not having the appropriate amount of staff during peek times and during the holiday season.
