Lately, I’ve had to return quite a few things so I’ve ended up at the post office quite often. It’s always been a nice in and out experience. I just have to say that if the folks that run this post office were in charge of running our government, there would never be a shutdown and things might actually get done. But in all seriousness, everyone I’ve dealt with at this location has been polite, competent, informative, and helpful. They deserve all of our respect and gratitude.

Address changes shouldn't be this much of a hassle. I have my Venmo card and BioLife card, and neither work for the online verification for some reason, probably because they're not a regular bank. I go in person to do it the paper way, and the guy tells me that I should try the mobile app because that's different than the website and people have more success with that. Well in fact feature in the app for address changes just routes you to the mobile version of the website which is actually just the same thing as the website. And all I have right now is Internet at my apartment, no cell phone service so I had to go home again to follow his misguided directions, now I have to wait for the weekend before I can go back to the office on Monday. Which i then have to wait for them to receive a barcode or something from another office in order to verify my identity?! This is bureaucratic nonsense! I need my damn mail! He at least was mildly polite, though I feel like I was being judged as a poor person because I came in wearing my back pack, I am poor, I have only recently gotten myself out of homelessness and have begun to fix my life, but I've made progress and am no longer homeless, yet I'm still being judged 🤣 of course...

Went in for fingerprint services, the only place within 15 miles, and GUESS WHAT. The ONLY person that can do it is 'on vacation'. Drove 40 minutes for nothing... thanks USPS.
