- SSSean SavittMar 20, 20263.0No joke, check your receipt. They’re charging customers to print their own receipt, whether you ask for one or not. I’ve never seen anything like this. I caught it on mine and they refunded it, but it was clear the staff didn’t even realize it was happening. Which means most people are probably paying it without ever noticing. Every self-service print job includes an extra black-and-white page charge that isn’t actually part of your print. That “extra page” is your receipt you are forced to pay for. When I pointed it out, I was told, “Well black and white is cheaper than color, so you’re saving money.” That completely misses the point. Charging for 10 pages when I printed 9 isn’t saving anything. It’s just adding a hidden fee for nothing. It’s a small charge on its own, but multiply that across every customer and it adds up to a lot. I’ve never heard of a business charging customers for their receipt, and honestly, that type of deceit alone is more than enough for me to take my business elsewhere. Do better FedEx.
