We had complications with our paperwork (not our error) after we had started signing. Patricia caught the problems, had everything fixed, and helped us finish our closing quickly! - MWMelissa WongJan 5, 20231.0I'm a real estate agent and had the worst customer experience with Guardian Title Company and Richmond Home Builder. Guardian Title is not professional and didn't even communicate with me regarding my client's closing! To my surprise, I found out they closed on the transaction by a call from my Brokerage Firm regarding my commission check! Found out later that my closer was Karen Slaven, which she never even emailed me to let me know they will be handling the closing. Never even sent me the Title Commitment and the closing documents when they closed, which they're required to send to Real Estate Agents. I had to call them and ask for it, and when I asked the person answering the phone why Karen didn't let me know about the closing, their excuse was they don't have my email address. Really?! What a lame excuse! Their job was to communicate with the Richmond Sales Team and get it from them. I'm sure it would have been easy for them to get it. It's the Builder's and Title Company's job to communicate with the Real Estate Agent and loop them in on the closing dates, not the Agent's client.
