These postal people in Glenwood do not know what they are doing. First: Asked for a mail forwarding service. Came into the post office twice and filled out the forms. Was initially told we had to show ID that is why I brought my husband back in person. The mail person said no ID required. We asked to confirm is she was sure. So we leave and over the course of 8 weeks did not get any mail forwarding. Second: The post charged me extra for a parcel and said that my friend mailed it incorrectly. And that my friend probably printed the postage. I called my friend and she confirmed that she mailed it from the post office in her home town! The postal gal also said it was mailed with the wrong postage and wouldn't fit through the slot. This is incorrect! I asked her why would the post office in Tennessee allow her to send it that way! There are countless other stories. That is why they have a 1.8 star review.

Extremely poor customer service at the passport desk. The employee handling passports was dismissive and unhelpful when we arrived for our scheduled appointment. We had a valid confirmation but were told we were “not on the list” due to a miscommunication. Instead of trying to resolve the issue or verify the appointment, she immediately told us to reschedule and showed no willingness to assist. We drove a long distance, took time off work, and came fully prepared with all required documents, only to be turned away without any effort to help. The attitude and lack of professionalism from the passport clerk made an already stressful process worse. This office seriously needs better coordination and customer service for passport applicants.

They fail to perform their fundamental responsibility to deliver packages and mail. I have lived at my current address for over 10 years and have consistently experienced the worst mail deliver service from the Glenwood-Springs post office. Yet ALL other carriers perform great for us year round. They are required to deliver packages yet leave pink slips even for the smallest of deliveries. The post master doesn't care and is rude when asked for solutions.
