- FCFranklin CroneJan 24, 20201.0So, I am expecting a package from the Netherlands with special gear to be delivered by DHL. DHL has a contract with USPS to do the "final mile." DHL drops the package at the Glen Haven Post Office and they take it. Because the package does not have PO BOX number, she returns it after consulting with her Post Master, Kim Chase, of Estes Park Post Office. It is returned even though the GLEN HAVEN employee knows me and my PO BOX number, even has my phone number and physical address on record; in this tiny US POST OFFICE where everybody knows your name and business, she is not allowed to deliver a package to a known person with a PO BOX, causing me so much frustration and time trying to prevent it's return to the Netherlands, which made it to Glen Haven in less than 3 days which is absolutely amazing, to have this amazing GLOBAL DELIVERY SERVICE run into the lack of customer service headed by Kim Chase of the USPS of ESTES PARK. It is mentally, physically and morally incomprehensibly mind-boggling how these employees are told to handle such trivial delivery situations with such callous thoughtlessness. If you enjoy talking in circles with folks that seem to love it just give them a call to complain.
