I can understand why this post office has 1.8 stars on google. I just moved to town, I’ve had PO Boxes all over the country & I’ve never had an issue setting one up until today. I’m currently sitting in my car crying after being spoken to the way the man & woman working on June 25th, 2025 at 2:30 pm spoke to me. I entered and said hello to the woman behind the counter with a smile & she ignored me and continued doing what she was doing behind the counter, I thought to myself okay, it seems like she’s getting ready to leave. I understand that. Once the man behind the counter was finished helping the patron before me he said “come on up, I’ll be with you in just a second” and so I came up to the counter. I said that I had reserved a PO Box online & had my two forms of proof of identification. He was scanning over my papers & instead of asking me where the PO Box form was, he asked his coworker if I should have a form with me. I explained that I don’t have a printer & that it states online that the post office should be able to print it for you if you aren’t able to print it yourself. I live in an RV, and don’t own a printer. He then asks the woman again if they’re able to print it, or if I should have it with me. I said that each time I’ve come to a post office for a PO Box they were able to print it. Then he tells me my second form of ID (my lease agreement, proof of address, with my name on it, signed by the lease manager at the RV park in town) is not valid. I said this is my lease, it also has proof of payment & is signed indicating that I live at the address stated on the paperwork. He says I need a lease. I said sir, this is my lease & tried to explain. Instead of hearing me out he waved his hand, scoffed, looked away from me & asked the next customer to come forward. I couldn’t believe it, I’ve never been so embarrassed. It felt as if he was just looking for a reason to turn me away, and instead of allowing me to explain he kept saying “I need a lease” & interrupting me before I could try explain the situation & figure out what I can ask the leasing office at the RV park for that would be sufficient. I just wanted to know what other document from them would be acceptable so that I could acquire it. The woman also said something unintelligible that felt snarky & rude. I said to him that id be writing this review & he did not care. He said “good, wonderful”. I then replied “I don’t know why you think it’s okay to talk to or treat people that way” and left. I already paid the 3 month payment for our PO Box & I have no interest in doing business with this post office. I may just have to send my husband in there to reason with the man instead. Please avoid this business if you can. Horrible experience. Day ruined **update. Id like for the employees in question to know that a formal complaint has been filed through USPS. I will file a complaint as many times as it takes for these employees to take some accountability, or to know that they’ve been reprimanded in some fashion. I encourage all of you that have left google reviews to file formal complaints through the USPS website as well. I went back to my leasing office & asked them to please confirm whether I have the appropriate documentation for my lease agreement. They confirmed that it is the appropriate documentation and were quite perplexed as to why I would be turned away. I canceled my PO Box reservation at this USPS location & brought my business & MY VALID & LEGITIMATE LEASE AGREEMENT to UPS & will be receiving mail services through them. Have the life you deserve Fort Morgan USPS employees **
