Avoid Tara the mail lady here!!!! I’ve truly had great experiences at this location until today. Unfortunately, my interaction with Tara was very disappointing. She came across as rude, condescending, and impatient with both me and an elderly customer ahead of me. I have videos. She slammed my boxes down and spoke in a tone that felt unnecessarily aggressive, which made the situation uncomfortable. I didn’t know I’d be condescended for needing some extra help shipping my packages. When I asked for help with return QR codes and packaging options, she told me the items couldn’t be shipped together but didn’t initially offer alternatives or guidance. I had to ask about other options, like store packaging, and the communication felt dismissive rather than helpful. She made me feel like any question I had was stupid. Even when I tried to stay polite and cooperative, her interactions remained tense. She wouldn’t even tape my boxes better without telling me to do it myself next time. I was especially concerned seeing impatience directed toward an elderly customer. Customer service can be stressful, but courtesy and problem-solving make a big difference, especially when helping people who may be unfamiliar with shipping procedures. This was myself and I’m sure many others. I simply wanted to complete my errand and leave with clarity, not frustration. I do want to recognize another employee, I believe his name is Ed, who has always been friendly, patient, and helpful. He consistently makes customers feel valued, which is why my previous experiences stood out so much! I hope this feedback encourages more consistent, respectful customer service moving forward. While today’s interaction was frustrating and reckless of my property to return, I know this location is capable of much better.

To Ed and Company and all the wonderful friendly professional people behind the counter. Thank you- so refreshing to have a convo - and no snarky hurried employee waiting to say next. Best PO ever

According to federal guidelines, any mail recipient can refuse junk letters - just write "refused" and put it back to be picked up. My Fort Collins mail carrier didn't know this. When I left a note citing the regulation in her own USPS handbook, she retaliated by purposely and improperly marking my address as vacant, and refusing to deliver my mail. I had to call the office to restore service. The supervisor I spoke to ALSO argued and had to be directed to her own guidelines, despite claiming to have addressed my multiple written complaints. These employees don't know what they're doing and they refuse to learn. I'll be contacting their oversight office in Denver.
