Allowing staff to independently decide when to accept packages causes unnecessary frustrations and may risk discriminatory practices. At my last visit, the employee processed my packages as an “exception” due to ample available space but abruptly changed his mind when he saw I had additional small items. His lack of professionalism, including making sarcastic remarks in the presence of my children, was disappointing. Thankfully, a different UPS store easily accepted my items, acknowledging they regularly receive customers frustrated by the inconsistent service at the other location. I’ve frequented the Harmony store for years, and while the service used to be exceptional, there is a noticeable sense of indifference now. Maybe it’s prudent for management to consider reviewing store practices in light of recent feedback. Even with restricted drop-offs, clear policy and a customer-centric approach will ensure guests are informed and respected. ☺️
