I participated in Operation Santa this year just to try to do something nice for kids in need and when I went to go send the package off, USPS is wanting $165 to ship a small box that’s 7 pounds? Wow. Not only did I go out of my way to spend my own hard earned money, my gas, and my time to participate in USPS’s program but they can’t even cover the cost of shipping or charge the normal rate of shipping for a 7 pound box? Shame on you for using peoples misfortune as a cash grab around this time of year. I advise NOBODY participates in this program until they reform their own shipping policies in reference to any sort of gift giving program.
