Placed an order online. To hold my package at the post office it costs me $26. Was more than the item I bought.

They need to hire more people! Waiting over an hour to just pick up a package is INSANE! Only one person at the counter and a line out the door almost every time I come here. And, it’s not like there is another option for mail service! Horrible!

"I was recently sharing with my coworkers how grateful I am that my local post office is the one in Eagle, CO. The staff there are genuinely kind and friendly. I’ve had terrible experiences in the past with the unpleasant woman who used to work at the Vail location, so now picking up my packages in Eagle truly feels like a blessing."

Idk why usps is the worst service out here. Never had so many issues in my life with usps till I moved out here.
Sometimes they deliver to P.O. Boxes sometimes they don’t.
They never hold a package like other post offices do if there is insufficient address
They won’t even go get the package if it is in the back and is labeled insufficient address.
What a joke

I just read a couple of 1 star reviews and people seem to think the post office delivers Mail … they don’t…. So this is not their fault. FedEx and UPS deliver Mail … there might be a couple other delivery companies like DHL but those are the main ones who deliver here. If you put your home address, it won’t work (the local USPS DOES NOT DELIVER TO HOMES - this is very common for rural colorado). Some companies don’t take PO Box addresses and in that case you need to ensure that they deliver via FedEx or UPS. This is USPS. Hope this helps. Also unsolicited advice : stop buying so much cr🎈p online … it’s not sustainable, you never were able to do it before so you obviously don’t need it (in other words: there are other ways to survive without home deliveries!) and the mountain ecosystem doesn’t need it. Buying online creates a huge carbon footprint …. It also contributes to huge lines at the post office. Consumerism & Convenience culture literally kills. Have some patience. Meds, yes, you need obviously. Just make sure to have the correct P.O. Box. And stop buying so much junk so the post office lines aren’t as long … or try going out to a local business and finding what you want … and if they don’t have it … you didn’t need it any way …. Have some respect for a small town you moved into and stop acting so entitled. This post office is doing a great job with how little funding they get and the workers barely get paid enough to scrape by while the cost of living sky rockets. And they have to deal with these people who move into communities and don’t take the time to ask how things work before they impose their opinions on how they think things should work and then just complain complain complain with entitlement and through their complaints it just shows how they don’t even understand how local Mail works. Thank you USPS for taking care of our Mail and dealing with all the entitlement that moves into this valley while they are also the people to blame for raising prices AND making the lines longer! Joke is on them! Hopefully they get a clue and realize they are also part of the problem ….
