I just recently moved back to the front range from Grand Junction. Long story short, I learned about the USPS new policy regarding having to have your ID match your current address. I had a lot of different addresses from November 2024 to about August 2025, due to my circumstances at those times. I didn't change my ID to any of the temporary addresses and wanted to do so when I had a permanent address. So in finally moving back home and moving to the Thornton area, I needed a very important package mailed to me ASAP. I didn't realize that USPS would leave a "new resident green card" in the mail box at my new address and that it needed to be filled out before it would be considered "vacant." Because of this my package had gotten "returned to sender" for attempting to be delivered to a "vacant" address even though it's not and I live here now. I called the general USPS line and learned about the new policy. I was very frustrated because I understand the need to have a current address on an ID but lets be honest, the DMV is hard to plan during a M-F, 9-5 job. So I had to call my local post office to try to see if they could help me. I had the complete pleasure of getting a kind gentleman named Thaddaeus (I hope I spelled that right Thaddaeus sorry if I didn't, I know there's an "A" in your name like you told me but I lost the paper I wrote it on and for the life on me can not remember where the "A" goes!) Not only did he find my package, he held it for me so that I could pick it up directly at the post office! AMAZING WORK!! That's the best customer service I think I've ever received from USPS -- and lets be honest the USPS can be frustrating, but he truly made such an impact on my opinion of the USPS. Thank you kind sir! This gentleman deserves a raise and the recognition of doing an above and beyond fantastic job in helping me! Thank you times a million, you are the best! I would love to work with him for all my questions and inquiries in the future!! Applause! Applause! Applause! Standing ovation! :) :D

So just to address what other people are saying that this is a great pro stop office. They're doing great job.Absorbing work from other locations.I have to disagree. My issue with this post office has been going on for quite some time. They have a driver in particular that does not like to deliver to our mailbox. I continually get messages in my mailbox from her that there is something obstructing the mailbox, and she refuses to get out of her truck to deliver the mail. This is the laziest worthless excuse for a mail driver I have ever seen.
