- APAllison PriceDec 16, 20251.0Came here to ship out Christmas presents. I brought in a box that I measured at home to be 14.5x11x6 with a weight of 3.6lb. I rounded up every measurement when doing the online calculator for shipping cost (15x11x6 and 4lb) and it told me it would be around $25. I watched Lailah at this store measure the box and type in 18x14 as the first two measurements. When the total came out to $45 I was shocked but figured I must have done something wrong with the calculator. Then she struggled to get a weight reading for one of my other packages, a t-shirt and a post card, and after fiddling with the scale and not measuring told me that it would be $38. When I asked why the price was so egregious she said it was probably because it was going to Missouri. I cancelled the transaction and left. EDIT: Mailed everything at the post office and my total was $41 for all 3 packages. The total would have been $108 at UPS.
