The Post Office in Cripple Creek, Colorado 80813 is the worst in the nation. Missing packages, late mail, credit cards that never seem to make it to me, receiving other box holders' mail and their credit cards and financial statements are just a few of the hassles as a postal customer in Cripple Creek. To add insult to injury, I received a bill recently from my credit card company for a new credit card with multiple fraudulent charges even though I had never received the credit card at my PO Box in Cripple Creek. In addition, I was on a first name basis with Amazon customer service due to the fact that my Amazon packages were always missing. The only way to end these frustrations was to relocate my post office box. It is amazing how my new post office seems to deliver ALL of my mail and packages in a timely manner and I am able to pick up my packages after hours from their generous supply of parcel lockers. By the way, the post office in Cripple Creek is the only post office I've seen that CLOSES FOR LUNCH??? The city of Cripple Creek has grown too large to have a post office that closes for lunch. Post office patrons need to conduct business on their lunch breaks and when the only post office in town is closed for lunch, it is very inconvenient to have to take time off from work to pick up a package or letter. ****This post office is a nightmare and in desperate need of an overhaul.

"Atrocious" is the only word that describes this post office and its employees. The employees here are the laziest postal employees in the whole of the United States. I have a very strong suspicion that they are stealing my mail as well. What concerns me is that they are either thieves or just that lazy. Whenever I am expecting packages, the packages usually either disappear or they are placed behind the counter because the employees here are too lazy to put the mail out. And they would rather ease their work load by putting very small packages on a shelf behind the counter. I believe that theft is occurring at the post office as I unfortunately have had several bank related parcels and other important packages go mysteriously "missing". I have also received my Amazon packages opened when I got them from behind the counter. When I have questioned the employees and even the post master about this strange occurrence, they give me the, "who me" look and say that Amazon doesn't secure their packages very well. However, I know that to be untrue as I have received packages from Amazon at other post offices, and even though their transfer facilities are questionable at best, this is the only post office I have ever received open packages from. Sadly, as I said before, I have had highly sensitive bank letters go mysteriously missing at this post office. One of my banking documents even contained a card that was very important and it never arrived even though the tracking information said it had made it to my post office. What really upsets me about this post office is that I have received other box holders sensitive documents and I had to immediately go to the postal employee and hand the documents back to her. This is concerning as I don't believe I have been extended the same courtesy from the "interesting" characters at this post office. But mainly, I believe this is an issue with the employees as they always seem to behave strangely when a inquire about my missing documents. This post office needs to be investigated by the Post Master General as I believe this location is operating in a very unprofessional and dangerous manner. This location needs an entire overhaul of employees from the mail sorting to the post master.
