What a complete waste of time despite being proactive and filling out all the necessary documents beforehand. Not the first time this has happened so I figured I would take all the necessary steps to avoid this disaster. Well, might as well have done nothing. Lazy staff and lack of communication skills to say the least. All I wanted was my items that are paid for.

*** Update... I was able to reach the Post Office by phone the next day. The individual I spoke with was great. He stated he would speak to our delivery driver and have him correct the mistake. Later today, the package was delivered to my porch. Not sure if it was the Post Office driver or the resident who received my package. Regardless, it was great to reach someone and have them react to the issue appropriately. Thank you for your help! ***

I got a package mixed up and wasn't given a key to its box. once. out of some hundreds of thousands of packages. they also needed to replace the key so it probably cost them more than the 5 minutes of confusion it did me.
