Worst post office in existence.
I give zero stars. 40 years experience with them. Incompetent, lazy, uncaring. Berthoud deserves better service....whoever is running the show should be replaced.

What a complete waste of time despite being proactive and filling out all the necessary documents beforehand. Not the first time this has happened so I figured I would take all the necessary steps to avoid this disaster. Well, might as well have done nothing. Lazy staff and lack of communication skills to say the least. All I wanted was my items that are paid for.

I love the Berthoud Post Office! They are actually really nice to me here. They also remember me and my address almost every time I come in and I’m pretty much always wearing a mask. Great job USPS keep
up the good work!!! :) 💪

This amazing little post office is just that - little. It's considered a rural post office, which means that the carriers (most, if not all) use their own vehicles, don't necessarily have uniforms, and their workload has grown immensely over the past couple of years with little-to-no growth in the number of carriers. This Office gets no say in how many new homes they'll be serving, and has NO input in the carriers used by online shoppers/merchants.
That said, they do a famously good job of delivering the mail on time and well. If a package is heavy or large, it'll be delivered later in the day or the following day (depending on how much room is in the carrier's car). A little patience with this small group of dedicated souls will go a long way.
My packages have been delivered well, my mail on time, and my service both in the post office as well as over the phone has been exemplary. I'm pretty thankful for them!!
