Genuinely one of the worst post offices I have ever been to. All of the staff is incompetent and lazy. I have informed delivery for my PO Box so I get notified when my packages are ready for pick up. The first time I got one I went in kind of early and was told to come back at 3pm. That’s fine I understand they have a lot of PO Boxes to manage and see a lot of packages in a day. However the next time I went to go pick up packages I followed all the right protocols. Got there after 3pm, checked my box, and went to the counter to get my packages that couldn’t go to my box. Then the little Asian lady proceeded to argue with me. I was trying to pull up my tracking number, but the internet wasn’t working. I gave her the names it could be under(I have my legal name and my preferred name. I usually send everything to my legal name, however something got accidentally mailed to my preferred) and the PO Box number. She asks me to spell out each name multiple times. Mind you I had about 4-5 packages I was waiting on and she comes back with one. She says that everything “hasn’t been sorted” and to come back tomorrow. So why send out messages that packages are ready for pick up? The whole system is awful and none of the workers seem to know how to do their job or they are simply too lazy to take the extra 5 seconds to look. Do not set up your PO Box here or use any of their services.

I went in 2 weeks ago to ask about sending a medication that needed to be refrigerated through the mail to my PO box here. I was assured by Star that boxes that are labeled appropriately are stored in freezers or refrigerators until pickup. My package was delivered Wednesday, but of course I went Wednesday and Thursday to check and the slip wasn’t in my box that it was ready for pickup. I was able to finally get it today and my package was not refrigerated - I picked it up from one of the package boxes. I went to talk to the workers at the desk and they couldn’t provide assistance but agreed that the box, clearly labeled, should have been refrigerated. Additionally, 2 packaged I picked up today were very opened. Not just mishandled but ripped open. This location is absolutely understaffed and the staff who are receiving packages are not treating packages well at all. This community relied on mail and when this is the main option, it’s disappointing and a disservice. This is medicine and they could not be bothered to handle it appropriately.

This was one of the worst USPS locations I have ever visited.
I only had a QR code drop off (which took about 45 seconds) and I stood at the front of the line for 15 minutes because another customer had so many issues with their PO Box that the employee on duty could not scan my QR code. They were able to take the drop off of the individual in front of me before walking away with the other customer. I'm not sure why they could not take me for the drop off. This is a complete lack of efficiency.
