Staff has no sense of urgency. Only 2 people working and a super long line. Plus they take their sweet time with every person. They would just walk away from the desk randomly. This was an awful experience. Took me over a hour and a half to mail a package

Ive called over 6 times today and cannot get an answer. Next they’re going to tell me that they cannot solve my problem because I didn’t contact them fast enough… just not doing their jobs at all. About to email the larger USPS help contact as well. This is awful and not the first time.

I went there today, and the staff are working, most are over 50, they are not rude, pretty decent, but only 2 people on the counter and the line was long. And they are taking their time.... I don't blame them. I think they are understaffed, and they try their best to hold up and not letting the situation discourage them from servicing people. It is not easy to work in an understaffed environment and having to serve angry customers all day. Despite a very low rating of 1.7 stars, experience highlights that the root cause is often institutional underfunding rather than a lack of effort from individual employees. Currently, the USPS is projecting an $8.1 billion net loss for 2026 and warns it could exhaust its cash reserves by early 2027 without structural reform. Below are the facts: Financial Deficits: The USPS reported a net loss of nearly $1.3 billion for the first quarter of fiscal year 2026. This follows a total loss of approximately $9 billion in 2025. Declining Volumes: Total mail volume has dropped significantly, with profitable First-Class Mail reaching its lowest levels since the late 1960s. Management Conflicts: There is ongoing tension between postal leadership and watchdogs. While Postmaster General David Steiner has been pushing for legislative reforms—such as raising the $15 billion debt limit and reforming retiree health benefit obligations—critics point to "mismanagement" decisions, noting that management positions have grown even as the number of front-line carriers and clerks has shrunk.

The gentleman who helped me didn't seem to be having a very good day. He acted like he didn't like his job however I'm not going to contribute to anything negative perhaps he was just having a bad moment. I was still able to accomplish what I needed to go there for.
