Post master was friendly and courteous. We bought a few post card. We had great experience showing the kids how to send mail through the U.S. Postal Service. Historic buliding located in Yosemite Village. Yosemite Village Post Office, completed in 1924. Bulilding has stone facade on the lower level and wood shingles on the upper level. Cool rustic architecture, or “parkitecture.” Popular destination for park visitors to mail postcards and letters with the Yosemite National Park postmark. The Post Office sells park related stamps and post cards. My kids enjoy writing postcard to grandma and family.
