My visit today was very disappointing. Only one person working, not that I have ever seen more than two persons at a time, in the line was very long. The lady at the counter was rude to just about everybody that came up to her. She was not helpful to elderly persons in front of her and Said the whole week she’d be working by herself. I understand her frustration however her attitude is less than desirable. The lobby was a mess! Trash everywhere supplies needed to be refilled. When someone asked for a supervisor, she pointed to the door and says “knock and wait until he comes out.” No one ever came out to speak with the customer.

There is an Asian woman at the passport service — her attitude really needs improvement. She kept interrupting me while I was talking. I had just said one word when she cut me off, saying, ‘It doesn’t matter.’ There’s no need to treat a customer like that.

The customer service at this location was deeply disappointing. I came in today expecting to complete my passport application, believing I had secured an appointment—I even received a verification code via email, although not a final confirmation. It’s possible I may have missed a step in the process, and I understand that mistakes happen. However, the way I was treated at the counter was unprofessional and unnecessary. The woman assisting me (an Asian staff member) responded with immediate hostility. When I mentioned my appointment, she laughed and said, “No you don’t.” When I calmly asked if there was an issue, she turned her screen toward me and said, “See? I have no appointments,” in a dismissive tone. As someone who works in hospitality, I understand the importance of treating every guest with courtesy and patience, regardless of how the day is going. I would like to believe she was simply having an off day, but after reading similar experiences from others, it seems this may be a pattern. A bit of advice: when someone believes they have an appointment that isn’t showing in your system, a more thoughtful approach could be, “I’m not seeing your appointment here—do you happen to have a confirmation email?” And if not, kindly offer an alternative: “Unfortunately, we’re fully booked today, but we do have availability tomorrow.” It’s not difficult to be kind, especially in today’s world where people are already dealing with enough stress. I sincerely hope this feedback is taken to heart and leads to a more respectful experience for future visitors.
