They helped me with my mailing addresses and sent my mail for me. Friendly staff and solid service.

Maybe the post office is okay with this, but I really didn't appreciate the level (or rather complete lack of) customer service that I received the other day. I went in to inquire about a missing package. The lady was kind initially until I told her my address. I didn't even get to the street name. She knew the number and the moment I said it, she cut me off and changed her entire demeanor towards me. She implied that the missing package was a scam and that the seller sent it with a fraudulent label. She was incredibly rude towards me after that. I'm sure others have had worse experiences in life, but I just find that so atrocious and disgusting to be discriminated against because of my address. The backstory to this? I live in a condo complex, which has been a victim to the many mailbox break-ins that are occurring across Southern CA right now. It's well documented. I'm on the board of directors for the HOA and am well aware of the fact that the postmaster thinks it's an inside job here (she personally told me this) - even though we have done all we can to up our security here, and even though the mail carrier has stated that when he sees another local complex broken into he always knows that ours will be as well - how could that be a resident? Since there is an obvious issue with this across the area, it's pretty safe to say that it's not an inside job and no resident of our complex deserves to be treated like garbage because of it. She did acknowledge the issue and that it was the source of her disgust with my address.

They prematurely scanned my package as delivered when it didn’t deliver yet, and it messed up the tracking as a result. Package still hasn’t arrived and I think they lost it. $150 down the drain :( they probably aren’t even gonna look at my missing mail request.

I tried this office for the first time because I was in the neighborhood. But to my dismay, it left me immensely devastated. This experience here could have possibly derailed my career. I wish I would have read past reviews about this uptown location. Specifically Alejandro’s review, the second paragraph. Had I known delivery delays are problematic here, I would’ve avoided this office. I had a document I mailed as overnight priority and paid the extra expense. Before mailing the document, I asked the Gen Z man what would he recommend; he reassured me it would be there on time. Surprise, days later it has yet to arrive at its destination. Although I understand the transit process has a lot of moving parts and not one individual has the sole responsibility from point a to point b, this has never happened at the Whittwood facility. The staff at the Whittwood facility is very informed, and prompt. I encourage you to avoid using usps on Washington if you have a time sensitive delivery. To save you time…Customer service is a bot, good luck trying to reach a Person. It says that their staff does not know any more information than the same tracking information provided on the website or app. If you need something on time don’t go here.
