The placement failed within the 90-day guarantee period due to lack of experience and a breach of confidentiality — our recruiter shared internal performance feedback directly with the candidate, who then resigned. Even after acknowledging the failed placement, Robert Half refused to honor its guarantee. In an email, the recruiter stated, “I just don’t have anyone… I’ll book the refund tomorrow and won’t present any other candidates until April,” confirming they abandoned their own replacement obligation. Months later, their attorney offered a $13,200 refund — the same amount as the original fee — but only if we signed a restrictive settlement agreement requiring us to retract consumer complaints and reviews. We responded in good faith on September 18 and October 2, 2025, but as of today, there has been no refund or reply. We also filed BBB Complaint #23445307, and the BBB confirmed that our additional evidence has been added publicly, noting the case remains unresolved. Our experience shows a company unwilling to take accountability — offering conditional refunds tied to silence rather than honoring its written guarantees.
