I would give 0 stars if I could. Condescending and passive aggressive are two values one specific clerk thinks are okay to use in a customer service job.I came in looking for answers on a package and left with nothing but a sour taste and disappointment. This specific clerk is an older woman with gray hair in a half do with braids and glasses. (Who was not wearing her badge to identify herself - which is part of their uniform fyi)
Everything was okay until I needed to clarify that the reason I was stressing the package was for an insurance claim who tells me they go based on tracking updates. she proceeded to cut me off and go off on a rant about the delivery of the package so I told her she kept interrupting me and that she was being condescending despite me being nothing but respectful towards her. it turned into this said clerk, stepping 5 feet away from the counter and beginning to record me as if I causing a scene when really she just didn’t like that I called her out for being rude. I mentioned seeing negative reviews about this location and told her she is mentioned in them several times through out the years and she must have not liked that so she decided to have a Tantrum instead. I can understand I was a little frustrated, but how can I not be? from the moment I walked in and was being “helped” I was being spoken to in a passive aggressive manner.
She will make you feel like you are the problem for trying to find answers and will deny any said treatment. She refused to give me her name when she was recording me, refused to give me any information on management. (Who are not present at this location). She stood there recording me, refusing to provide the information while an huge line formed and even had her coworker Mohammad get involved. Mohammad was more helpful than her, but can also use some customer service training. Another character that will ask you what you need and then interrupt you in the middle of you answering to try to disprove what you are saying.
I had to go over to the postal office at 7610 Beverly blvd which is the main center to speak to Jerome, the supervisor, who was lovely and assured me he would be taking my complaint seriously. Jerome apologized for this unacceptable behavior and even wondered why an employee would take the time to record a customer when that isn’t their job. We need more Jerome’s!! I will NEVER come back to this location after this considering my partner has also been treated poorly by his woman in the past. I hope this helps anyone who wants to come here… please go to the main

I’m going to be honest - the reviews here are CRAZY. Coming from living in two other states with HORRIBLE post offices makes this place seem like a dream. Never a line, the customer service is polite and efficient, and it’s very clean for a post office! I don’t understand all the negative reviews tbh

After reading the reviews, I was ready for it 🤌🏼
But I had a super pleasant experience. I walked in at 09:05 and was the only customer there. All three employees were friendly and helpful. Overall great vibes ✨

Rude useless staff, slow service, always a line out the door. They lock up the self-service machine overnight- why???? The USPS lost my business application and missing mail search useless. Calling customer service just sends you in checked with a robot- unable to get transfer to human. The answer from the USPS employee: “That’s everywhere now.” Told me to put it in a bigger envelope (buy it from them$$) so maybe it doesn’t get lost this time. Flat out told me getting my mail delivered is a function of luck!!! Oh really? Is that how the USPS operates now? On luck?
