- CBCharlie BeebeDec 23, 20251.0Worst Staples ever! They won’t let me put my own card stock in the self service printers like Office Depot does. Then they wouldn’t print it for me because the card stock that I bought from them says Inkjet printer on the packaging. The lady said “These are Laser Printers. Inkjet paper will not work in them.” LOL! I have used inkjet paper in laser printers hundreds of times! I guess the Xerox laser printers at staples don’t work the same as the Xerox laser printers at Office Depot. To the print lady at the Watsonville Staples… you should know what you’re talking about before you start speaking your BS. I’ve been a computer guy for going on 40 years and I’ve printed hundreds of holiday cards and birthday cards on laser printers using “inkjet cardstock”. In fact I’m on my way back from the Office Depot in Salinas after successfully printing 35 home made Christmas cards on their Xerox Laser printers… using card stock that says Inkjet printers on the packaging. Not one single jam. Took me about 5 minutes on their self service machines.

We were served with nothing but frustration even before taking the pictures. I gave up trying to take the picture on our first try due to her lack of customer service and patience. Although I had a terrible experience with her the manager Frank was very nice and patient with my daughter.

One of there other employees at the register saw this and stopped to help me he was very helpful, but she came back and got bothered that he was helping me.
