Today is November 14th, 2025 at 3:40 PM. After I finished filling out the mail forms and came to the counter, the USPS receptionist was extremely rude. He stared at me with no greeting, no questions, and no acknowledgment. He just typed on the computer silently. He didn’t ask any of the usual questions about what I needed or any of the required safety questions about the delivery. Even after that, I still said “thank you,” because there is no reason to be rude to anyone, even when they show poor attitude, bad behavior, and disrespect. If I could give –1 stars, I would. This should never happen in the Walnut Creek area, which is known for being safe, respectful, and well-educated. This was truly the worst customer service and training I have ever witnessed at this USPS location.

Horrible customer service. The person working never said one word to me, no acknowledgment, no price and no thank you!

I’ve always had the worst experience here and decide to switch to the local UPS Store. Associates are rude and often hear them whisper under their breath that they don’t want to be here, and they aren’t helpful at all in terms of assisting with packing or advice on getting the cheapest route.

Good clean post office unlike I have seen in Houston TX. This location is a bit under staffed and one of their employees is completely clueless. I do ship a few packages selling and buying online stores so tracking, signature confirmation are sometimes required. I asked this clerk if the package can be tracked as I don't see any tracking number, she said yes and the number on another receipt and I doubtfully came out and went back again to confirm same answer. Then I tried to check the status of the package and there's no records found, it is not a valid number. I've seen a tracking number before (many times) but I asked her twice just to check and I still got a wrong answer. She can barely speak legibly and I don't understand how can you not know basic things working at the counter. I took an insurance on the item but it's not an option I would like to exercise I would rather have my stuff delivered. Now I have to wait to hear from my customer if the package went there safely. This employee needs a lot of training or a new job to say the least. I'm not bitter but I'm super pissed.
