Listen, I don’t normally leave reviews like this but this was ridiculous. I had about 10-15 packages to mail. I’m not a business I just had a bunch of stuff to mail. I walked over to the counter where the package drop off was and the person who was serving a customer in a very tiny office IN FRONT OF TEN OTHER PEOPLE WAITING in this tiny room asked me how many packages I had and I said something like “I’m not sure, a bunch”.
She told me I have to take them to Venice where “they’re going anyway” because they had substitute drivers (? Or something) and they can only take so many so if I have more than 10, I have to take them to Venice. I told her I have about ten but I could count and she gave me a withering look. So I just said “but if you’d rather I take them to the other place then fine, thank you” and picked up my heavy bags and went out to the car.
It was embarrassing to be called out and she was not polite. For bringing packages to a post office. How dare I think I could post packages at a post office.
I’m sorry, make a sign or don’t be rude. I didn’t have time to drop them off and have to do another day which I wasn’t planning for. Thanks.
