- DEDillian EnglandDec 26, 20251.0I live out on The Yellow Brick Rd here in VC. Recently, I have discovered that our mail delivery driver THROWS our packages into our driveway. We just got home baked goods from my mother and there were glass jars with homemade candy in them, all busted. Currently, my wife is washing hard candy to ensure we dont have glass surprises. Before, I had not put a lot of thought into slightly opened packages (over the last 3 years), but now I am appalled in realizing it was just carelessness. Earlier this week I was walking my dogs and saw a truck (mail truck) pull into the driveway. I was excited to get our deliveries, I WATCHED THIS GUY THROW THEM!! I yelled out, just for them to drive away. Other neighbors have had similar issues. I spoke to them today, and because of this they put up cameras!!! I hope that whoever you are, you find a new job soon (or request to leave and start at a new location). This last part is reaching a bit, but may be the same guy. I was pulling out of MY driveway, with my turn signal on (one car only). This mail truck was coming down the road I waited, he attempts to turn into MY driveway with no turn signal, and halts mid turn realizing he cannot fit. As I stared at him waiting for eye contact, or him to move as I was going to turn and would be out of his way anyhow if he had waited. Instead he stood still (no eye contact or any thought behind his facial expression), as if I was unable to see him. He waits for me to backup, turn right now instead of left (where I was indicating), and I had to do the widest left afterwards to continue. I'm sure it is the same person with the lack of consideration for our packages. I didn't tell you to be a mail carrier. This has been going on for a while, but wasn't until recently that we knew it is this guy ruining packages. All I can say is.. AWFUL. HUMAN. Here are a few recent pics. Two different packages. But I would say the last 10 or so I know have been thrown.

- CSChristian Culinary SpecialtiesAug 26, 20251.0It takes me 20 minutes each way to get to this post office and I went there 3 days in a row for a package that wasn't delivered because there was no "access code" In all the years I have been living here i have never given an access code and packages were delivered, we'll, most of the time because I had numerous issues in the past with my deliveries. I spent 2 hours driving back and forth plus lots of times once there because the employees are very slow and when you complain about that they just started laughing into my face. A few months ago they delivered a package to another address and I needed that delivery badly as it was gifts for my Grand-Niece that I was visiting in Europe and wanted to bring along. They actually knew that it was delivered to the wrong address, acknowledged it but still didn't get it to me until after I departed for Europe already.
