Went into the store today 2/7/26 around 4:25 to get a reprint of a passport photo that this location had taken, and also buy a calendar. There were 2 female employees that were busy helping customers, one working copy and print and the other was going back and forth between being a regular cashier and doing amazon returns. Kudos to her for working both areas with no help. I was told that I would need to go to the copy and print in order to get a reprint. They both did not know what type of paper the "passport printer" used. I suggested seeing if there was another package of paper that was near the machine so they can check. The girl got on her walkie a few times asking for help or suggestions, then finally asked her manager for help. The manager told the associate they do not do reprints even if its off a USB and walked away, no acknowledgement to me and went to stalking. Which I may add, there was a line at the regular check out along with the Amazon returns and the manager didnt acknowledge anyone in line nor help with the time. Before even going to check out, there was no sign of the manager on the sales floor until the associates asked her for help in copy and print. So Staples can print out photos and docs off a usb but once I mention a passport photo they cannot even though its on photo paper? The associate didn't even know how to explain to me how thats even possible, she was just as flabbergasted and when I had more questions that she ask her manager over the walkie, the manager responded rudely to her like she was the problem for asking questions she didn't know the answer to. This manager needs to do better and provide support to her associates that are clearly doing a lot and need help with all the customers that were in line. The manager also needs to give a better explanation as to why a service cannot be provided if the original service was done AT THIS LOCATION and not just "we don't do that". A simple, "our printer cannot do the exact size of the passport photo" would gave been good enough or even "unfortunately no one here right now knows how to do that but another day we will have someone that can help you", would have been better than the manager saying no and walking away. You are in the business of customer service and although there will be times you have to tell a customer news they do not want hear, at least be present and do not allow ur new associates to take the brunt of the questions when they themselves do not know and have to ask you anyways.

The staff were helpful, however, there was only one staff member that helped many people during my visit. Additionally, the prices of business related printing (such as business cards) were not clear until the time where we were ordering the actual printing. The place itself was clean and organized though. Overall, I think it is a good place to visit.

I know is a tiresome job, Ian, but if you don’t like taking care of customers after the holidays season maybe you should find a different job instead the Amazon returns desk. Or maybe hint a smile or two at the customers in front of you that greet you cheerfully. Happy new year.

I do not recommend this store. I came by to pick up an Amazon package. The first problem is that the line at the service desk was 5 people deep and no other employees came around to help out the worker at the counter. I would recommend the store focus on customer service first and foremost before other things like stocking. Help should have been reallocated to help out. When I finally made it to the counter the person at the counter told me she couldn't find my Amazon package. Amazon notified me the package arrived so my only thought was that the Staples employees misplaced the package. The store is so unorganized with packages lining the walls I was not surprised they lost it. It's a mess in there. The worker recommended I notify Amazon the package was not there and that they would send another. This might be great for the store and the worker to kick the can down the road, but for me it was not a great experience as I drove all the way to Staples and drove home empty handed to now have to do it all over again to get the replacement package arrives. No thanks. I'm going to send it somewhere else next time. The worker offered no apology whatsoever for the inconvenience. This store is poorly managed. Go somewhere else.

Absolutely the worst Staples experience imaginable – avoid this location at all costs (1120 N Naglee Rd, Tracy, CA) This place is a complete disaster and easily the worst Staples on the planet. I was forced to come here because Amazon designated it as my ONLY UPS/Amazon return drop-off location in Tracy. Big mistake. The line for Amazon returns literally wrapped around the entire copy/print center and halfway down the ink aisle (easily 20+ people deep) with ONE employee painfully slow-processing returns. After waiting 25 minutes, that employee just walked away mid-transaction, disappeared into the back for 15 minutes, and never came back. No announcement, no coverage, nothing. People were yelling toward the stockroom with zero response. When someone finally showed up, they still refused to help. Multiple customers (myself included) watched employees actively ignore people waving packages and calling for help, pretending they didn’t hear or see anything while restocking shelves 10 feet away. One guy literally held his package in the air and said “Can someone help with an Amazon return?” and the employee looked him dead in the eye, then turned around and walked the other direction. This store clearly hates doing Amazon returns and has made it their mission to punish anyone who tries. If Amazon is your only option in Tracy, do yourself a favor and drive the extra 15–20 minutes to the Staples in Stockton or Manteca. Seriously, burn the gas; it’s worth it to keep your sanity. Management obviously doesn’t care, corporate obviously doesn’t care, and the employees act like customers are an inconvenience. Zero stars would be too generous. Never shopping here again for anything, ever.
