Dear USPS Customer Service, I am writing to formally request support and a refund regarding a package I mailed from the Mountain View Post Office on October 16th, addressed to Houston, TX. I used the self-service kiosk, and the receipt indicated that the package would be delivered to the recipient’s home by October 19th. Unfortunately, the package was not delivered to the recipient’s home as promised. Instead, it was delivered to a kiosk location, which caused a significant inconvenience. The recipient is a senior citizen who relied on these supplies urgently and had to make special transportation arrangements to retrieve the package. When I contacted the Sunnyvale Post Office to request a refund for the delayed and misdelivered shipment, the manager refused to cooperate. He declined to provide the correct spelling of his name (which I believe may be Preete G.) and spoke in an unprofessional and dismissive tone. My issue was never properly addressed, and I did not receive the assistance I needed. This experience was both disappointing and unacceptable. As a paying customer, I expect professionalism and accountability. I respectfully request that USPS review this matter, issue a refund for the service that was not fulfilled, and take appropriate action regarding the manager’s conduct to prevent similar experiences for other customers. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. I look forward to a prompt response.

Never had an issue here. I can see how the workers are sometimes rude but I think it's just a communication style.

The E Java Dr USPS is nearest to my home, so since I work from home now, I've had to use this office A LOT since the pandemic started. I am there on average, once every week or so. If I need to go, it's always for a certified mail so I have to stand in the line. Yes, as others have said, there is sometimes/often a line. Sometimes, I have to wait to be helped. But, the wait is only because the staff (with a specific callout to Wendy and Arlene) actually CARE about the people they are helping. They want to make sure a customer (a) has all of their options, (b) can understand what is being said, and (c) gets the help they need to complete their mailing. I'm willing to wait for that because one day in the future *I* could be the one needing to know all of my options, trying to figure out how to complete a form I've not needed before... I would hope that people waiting in line behind me would recognize that I have also waited and I deserve to get actual help, not just 'pushed through' because there was a line. And, yes, the parking is sometimes sub-optimal. They do leave the gate open for additional parking, and I've never had any issues with parking 'past the gate'. I would love if they could pay for some of the open parking spots in the unused building next to the main parking area... maybe some day they'll hear that request. But, even with the parking and the line wait time, I still give this location a 5-star review because of the people, and because I feel safe, seen, and understood in this office. The facility is clean and well-maintained; the people are helpful and friendly, and, if it matters to you, it's at a VTA stop so it's green-commute friendly.

Passport appointment was smooth and quick when our turn was called because we came prepared with all the documents and photo. The person before us however was completely unprepared and took longer than us because they needed to take a photo, make photocopies of documents, and write the check when all of that could’ve been done beforehand.
