I was screamed at in front of a room full of people and employees by the clerk lead for asking questions about PO Boxes and his suggestions for my situation.
I went to ask questions about renting a box, and how to receive mail for my clients, sometimes things aren’t addressed to my company, but their company. I rep 40 clients, most out of state. The clerk told me they need to be here in person, no exceptions. I explained I’ve received mail at my home for 2 decades like this, no issues, what does he recommend. Again, it was a nasty, that’s illegal. I ask kindly, what do you recommend for my situation. His reply was a rude, can’t do anything. It’s illegal.
I tried to leave and said “thank for your time and for being a peach.” I tried to walk away, and it wasn’t said with attitude or loudly. But he then began screaming at me that I’m asking him to do illegal things. I reply, no, I’m simply asking for your help and suggestions. I’m shook! He continued yelling at me in front of everyone about me asking him to do illegal things and for my peach comment. I said “I asked you how you were, was respectful, kind, asked questions and for advice. From the start you said to me, what do you need. No smile, no kindness, no understanding, you were just unpleasant the whole interaction. Just be kind and professional. You aren’t.” He continued screaming until I walked out.
I have social anxiety. This is traumatic to simply ask questions and to have a scene like that caused. Everyone else at this location is lovely, but that guy was a nightmare!!

This location is so much cleaner than many other post offices.
Parking spots are sparse, but there are a couple of large parking lots nearby and the streets have parking too
