- DHDarrington HicksAug 6, 20241.0The worst post office we’ve ever had to deal with, everyone who works in this building deserves to be fired. They have left our mail in ant hills, packages in direct view of the street and away from the house, and have punished us for calling them out on their poor practice by withholding our mail until they deemed it right to begin delivering again (after which the mail lady deemed it professional to drive down our driveway and wail on the horn of her vehicle and asking the cohabitants of the home where I was and that she wanted to speak to me). Even after moving to a different town (largely due to the poor treatment of our mail) the workers at the Strathmore post office continue to treat us unfairly by stating there is no forwarding address for our mail even though we changed our address on the usps website immediately BEFORE finalizing the move. Now we don’t know what mail has been returned to the senders or for how long due to their either incompetence or blatant laziness to check the system for a forwarding address. To top it off they are refusing to answer the phone for at least the last 15 minutes of office hours, did they leave early or do they just not care about their customers? You’re better off getting a P.O. Box in the next town over than wasting your time dealing with these clowns and (as a military veteran) absolutely abominations of the term “federal worker/public servant”.
