An elder woman with black hair tied up under her hat was unprofessional on top of unpleasant. I wanted to be able to speak to a person about delivery issues. In the end I brought up the 800 customer service phobe number and asked how do I speak to a person. The elder woman couldn't answer and just tried to move on to the next customer when I was not finished trying to find out how to speak to an actual person on that 800 number (because i tried about 10 times between last night and today). She said "That's not what we do here." I did not know customer service was something Fed Ex does not train ALL THEIR EMPLOYEES on and just hires incompetent people like that woman. Way to brand the Fed Ex company name... Incompetent. If this is the kind of business Fed Ex is about, I'd make sure tp go out of my way to never referrer or use Fed Ex when/if I need to send packages out.

The staff is super friendly and helpful they always do everything by the book and you must be prepared to pickup or drop off the right way. Excellent customer service and I will continue to cross the bridge just to use this facility it’s that great. Thanks

A delivery driver to the zip code 94404 on 11/21/2025, you are the best and you are my saver. After a long week, on Friday I FORGOT / left two backpacks 🎒with laptops and everything at 1850 Gateway Dr, San Mateo parking lot. After 3h, I was out of town when I realized that I forgot my backpacks. Thankfully, one FedEx driver took them to a safe hand, and today I got both of my backpacks 🎒 safe and sound from this South City FedEx facility. If he didn’t take it, I am not sure whether I would be able to get it back or not. Thanks again
