  Been going to this Gentlemen's place for years, but yesterday hey pulled the most ticky-tacky move ive ever seen im my life. I brought in a med-large box and i forgot to tape it up. I asked nicely if he can tape it for me being a UPS store they would assist me. NOPE, he asked me to buy a roll of tape instead!! I just needed 1 piece of tape!!!! I had to go all the back to my house and tape it up, I mean come on the principal here why lose a customer over one piece of tape!!!! Unbelievable this UPS store, no wonder he is 3.1 stars, it now makes sense!!!! Customer service is not going on here, avoid him, he's not there to help!!

  Brought in a few Amazon packages to return that says box needed. Brought the box with the item in the box and because it wasn’t sealed with tape they would not accept it. He did tape one of my items, but would not tape two and sent me home to get a piece of tape having to come back to make my return. I have never been to a UPS/fedex that does not offer a complementary tape to seal a package. Disappointing customer service.

  I’ll write a review for you about your experience at this UPS Store in Solana Beach: Terrible Customer Service - Avoid This Location I recently visited this UPS Store in Solana Beach and was shocked by the complete lack of professionalism and basic courtesy. From the moment I walked in, the owner was dismissive and rude. I attempted to shred a small 2x2 piece of paper using what I assumed was a complimentary shredder - a common amenity at many UPS stores. Instead of politely explaining their policy, the owner snapped at me that shredding is a paid service, treating me like I was trying to steal something. What bothered me most wasn’t the policy itself - it was the total absence of basic human interaction and customer service. There was no greeting, no attempt to understand my needs, and certainly no willingness to help. The owner seemed annoyed that I was even there. Customer service is about more than just completing transactions - it’s about treating people with respect and dignity. This location failed on every level. No eye contact, no friendly demeanor, just cold, dismissive treatment that made me feel unwelcome. There are plenty of other UPS stores and shipping options in the area where you’ll actually be treated like a valued customer. Save yourself the frustration and go anywhere else.   The guy that worked there was honestly scary. If you do ANYTHING he doesnt like he gets deeply offended and a little aggressive. Never again.
