The front ladies are rude in a very subtle way . One said to me I wish I was old like you to be able to wear a turtle neck then she started making choking sounds mind you I am only a few years older than her not that it matters . She was handling my package as she was eating her cheese sliced and wiping her mouth with her hands . I know people walk on egg shells with them since they need to have things done in this post office . I hope the management is aware of this bullying

Absolutely worst customer service experience I’ve experienced in Santa Monica and at USPS. The two front desk ladies are only selectively patient and courteous to white customers. Koko(Coco) was especially mean. I was made fun of and treated with curt, one-word answers on both of my visits. On top of that, she didn’t even verbally confirm or let me select shipping options on one of my packages — she chose for me, then turned around and had her back to me while saying: “Have a good day” to signal me to leave. I confronted her about my feelings after 20 min of observing her behavior toward customers who were behind me in line. She dodged, did not apologize, and feigned surprise. I escalated and filed a complaint with USPS customer service, stating complete facts. Her manager at this branch called me, and performatively regurgitated my statement on the complaint and what I said to her during my confrontation. She dismissively said that she’ll talk to her, but did not hold herself accountable and did not apologize either.

There are 2 employees that I hope are not working when you go. They are slow, talk to each other, rude, the line could be 1 and because of them the line will grow to 20. This is not reliable employees.

This is about a particular Front Clerk #12 and not the entire post office. This must be the second worst experience I have ever had at the post office, and I would rank it as the worst customer service experience overall in my LIFE. The young woman at the Will Rogers Branch, located at 1217 Wilshire Blvd, Santa Monica, CA 90403, as identified on both of my receipts as Clerk #12. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS AWFUL; she was eating right in front of me, using her fingers to put food in her mouth, and then went on to suck and lick her fingers, long dragon nails and all when she was finished. She literally made me wait until she was done eating before assisting me. She also did not clean her dirty hands. When she finally completed her meal, I had to be the one to start my customer service request . I had to wait until she was finished EATING at the front counter. I noticed earlier that she rarely thanked customers after their transactions. However, after our transaction, she slammed my receipt on the counter and fell silent. Even though I said thank you and wished her a nice day, she did not reply. I found myself being excessively polite to compensate for her rude, unpleasant, and disgusting behavior. WHY on earth would you allow someone like her, with such a horrible, foul attitude, to work at the USPS, especially at the front counter of a business? WOW!! What a STANK attitued.

The worst customer service (?was she a real postal worker?) —and unreliable service. I took my dmv registration in on an early week day —2 days before it needed to be postmarked. DMV just sent me a letter regarding a late fee due to it not being postmarked by the due date. It doesn’t even look like/seem like/function like a legitimate post office at this point.
