Strongly dislike this office!!! I have been ordering packages/receiving as I am pregnant and approaching my due date. I live in a complex where they can bring packages upstairs to my door. I've had 3 things taken upstairs to my door since moving here, and now nothing is coming to my door. It's absolutely ridiculous that every day I've had to go up to the office to receive these packages. I am carrying heavy packages that can easily be brought to my door. I can't have my husband pick them up as he works during the offices hours. Even more frustrating that they can't seem to answer their phones !

The Orcutt Branch is locked up, so we can't access our PO Boxes, which have raised prices much faster than inflation, btw. The sign says it's because of a power outage in the lobby. The inner doors can be locked, and are when closed, and the outer area where the PO Boxes are located has often had no lights on when I've retrieved my mail at night, so I do not understand how any power outage affects the ability to access my PO Box. I would appreciate an explanation.

Came into the post office today to request information on forwarding my mail due to a change of address. A worker named Luis was extremely kind and knowledgeable, helping me throughout the process making my experience a breeze! The post office needs more workers like him who care about customers and help make a positive difference in our day to day lives. I wouldn’t mind visiting this location again.

The postal workers at this location are rude and dismissive, often speaking in a condescending tone. Since the community is primarily Spanish-speaking, I’ve noticed they speak harshly to Spanish-speaking customers while treating English-speaking customers differently, which feels discriminatory. I have personally experienced this unequal treatment.
Most recently, I observed that employees rate themselves on the kiosk after completing a service instead of giving customers the opportunity to rate their performance fairly. I have gone multiple times to speak with the postmaster about issues related to my neighborhood’s broken mailbox, but he refuses to come out and always offers excuses. On one occasion, the post worker told me to personally purchase a new lock and fix it myself. This behavior is unprofessional and shows a lack of basic decency toward customers.

Ordered a very important package. Kept getting getting delayed, and once it arrived in the final stop wasn’t out for deliver until like two days later even though it arrived at 4am. Then once out for delivery they declined to deliver and only put because of animal interference. Went in person the next day, didn’t have my package there. Where else could it possibly be as they said it wasn’t on a truck either. Went the NEXT day as they said to, and finally picked up after standing in line for over half an hour. Multiple people had the same issue we realized as one guy complained to another and we all realized we’re there for the same exact issue. Turns out a handler was bit by a dog, yet we received no notice and no next day delivery AND we had to pick it up the third day as it STILL wasn’t out for delivery. Now we have a community box to go to, another inconvenience instead of being delivered to at our doorstep.
