Got in 5 minutes before they closed. It was a fairly long line, but still got there in time before they were supposed to close. Told by older the woman employee that she wouldn’t help everyone because they were closing. Even though everyone in line was there before they officially closed. I’m not sure how things work in there but in every customer service job I’ve worked at we had the line come inside and closed the doors at the time we actually closed. That way everyone who was there before we actually closed, got respected. When we were up to ship our packages, she was very rude and mad at us. I would understand if we showed up 10 minutes late and snuck into the existing line. But we got there before the store actually closed and were treated like we were being evil.

This place advertises a 24/7 self-service kiosk, but the lobby is locked on weekends and after hours, so you literally can’t use it. What’s the point of calling something 24/7 if the door is closed? I just watched a guy ride his bike all the way here to drop off packages, only to find the doors locked and had to turn around and leave. That’s wasted time, wasted effort, and honestly disrespectful to customers. If you’re going to market a service as always available, then actually make it accessible. Otherwise, stop advertising it that way. This is straight up misleading and frustrating, especially when you go out of your way to get here. It’s clearly confusing a lot of people, and honestly, it feels misleading. Imagine paying for a PO box and not even being able to access it on weekends. That’s kind of ridiculous. In other areas I’ve lived, post office lobbies stay open, so this just feels like a step backward. I get that homelessness and people sleeping in lobbies might be an issue, but the solution shouldn’t be to shut everyone out. Hire a security guard, do patrols, figure something out. Locking the whole building just punishes regular customers who are trying to use a service that’s advertised as available. The one time I was inside on a Friday, it was insanely busy. The self-service kiosk was actually a lifesaver because otherwise I probably would’ve waited an hour just to get my packages scanned. That’s exactly why people rely on it. So advertising it as 24/7 and then locking the doors makes zero sense. Either make it accessible or stop marketing it that way.

No matter how long the line when I reach the window I feel like their attention is on me and me alone. Thank you for the years of service you have provided!

What are the collection times of your mail drop boxes, on weekends and weekdays? Please add this info to this location's description so everyone has access to this important information. (Someone needs to do this for ALL Post Office locations. It's known info, but not posted anywhere online. You can only know by driving to the deep box and opening it to see the posted time. FYI, Google Maps DOES allow different hours for different "services" (lobby, staffed, collecting times, passport photo hours, etc). It can also just be typed into the location description! ) Thanks
