Annie, whatever her last name is, with blonde hair, was rude and unprofessional. I was having trouble scanning and asked her help. She told me to stand in line. I stood in line by the scanner waiting for her to finish helping two other people with scanning. After she finished with the two people with scanning, she talked to other people from another line and totally ignored me. I asked her if she was going to help me, she said I need to stand in the other line. What the hell was she doing? She and the passport guy has got lots of complaints. Now I know why this office is rated so poor. But obviously nobody’s in the office cares about their poor performance.

I think someone needs to call the health department because the place smells like feces. It’s so disgusting. The last time that I went there it smelled so strongly of human feces that I seriously wanted to call the health department and have the place shut down. It’s disgusting it’s unacceptable. It’s not sanitary. It’s a public health safety hazard the place smells like feces. I’m tired of smelling this disgusting smell. It’s unacceptable. I don’t know if there’s a sewage leak or what’s going on there but someone needs to go clean that place and the health department needs to come in and make sure that it smells clean and that it’s safe for people to go to. I definitely will not be going there unless I absolutely have to and if I do, I will be holding my breath for the five seconds that I have to walk in there to drop off my mail. It’s so disgusting. Is there no manager or anyone that works there or anyone that cannot smell the disgusting smell of feces that’s unsanitary. You need to call some people in there and have them evaluate because it’s disgusting.

**America is still alive!!!**
I had the absolute best customer service experience in at least the past 5 years at the San Ramon USPS Post Office – hands down the most outstanding and stupendous service I've ever received from any business.
During the chaotic Christmas week, a delivery attempt was made to my closed office on Christmas Eve (Wednesday). With Thursday being Christmas Day, I waited until the next business days – Friday the 26th and Saturday the 27th – but there was no sign of my package. After calling USPS customer service, I was told it should be at the San Ramon location.
I went in and explained the situation to an older African-American clerk (I regrettably forgot her name). She was incredibly patient and helpful from the start. When the package couldn't be found initially and I mentioned how important it was – a discontinued, very expensive product – she went completely above and beyond. She searched multiple areas thoroughly and even escalated it to the supervisor.
It turned out there was a scanning issue after the Christmas Eve attempt; the package hadn't been properly logged back into the facility or was still on a truck. They took my contact info and promised to call. Just 10-15 minutes later, while I was driving home, I got a call from Supervisor Will – he had the package in hand! Even though the post office was closing, they invited me to come right back so I could pick it up that day.
This level of dedication and genuine care simply doesn't exist much anymore. They turned a stressful holiday mishap into a complete turnaround, saving my Christmas week entirely. I can't express enough gratitude to the wonderful clerk and Supervisor Will – you restored my faith in people.
In places like this San Ramon USPS, the real America I grew up in is still very much alive. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
