Came here for a poster print. Staff was slow but kind. They need pre-orders for weekend. Gets kind of busy

It's a ghost town - without even a cashier in sight. Came in to pick up a few small items, but was stuck in a line of 7-8 people while we all criticized the lack of both cashiers and self-checkout options. Human presence is key to competing with very easy retail options like Amazon.

The Staples in San Jose feels almost like a productivity hub. Self-service kiosks, efficient printing stations, and organized shelves make the experience quick and seamless. In a city driven by innovation, it’s interesting how a traditional office supply store adapts while remaining reliable.

My recent visit to Staples was a great experience. I’ve been coming to this location for over 20 years, and that says a lot about the consistently positive service I’ve received over the years. The staff is always friendly, professional, and eager to help, which makes each visit easy and pleasant. I was able to find what I needed quickly, and I left feeling very satisfied with the overall experience

I had a really disappointing experience at the Staples location with the general manager, Terry. I came in for a service that I’ve had done before by other employees, but Terry refused, insisting they don’t offer it and she simply wouldn’t do it. She had a condescending attitude and treated me poorly—very dismissive and unpleasant. The whole encounter felt dismissive and unprofessional.
