Instead, the recipient got a message saying it was “signed and delivered,” even though she never signed for anything and was home the entire time. Turns out, USPS had some random person sign for it and then just left the package in a building hallway. No knock, no confirmation, no care. Seriously, what does “signature required” even mean to USPS? Because from where I’m standing, it’s just an empty label and a wasted fee. Completely unacceptable.
