To my way of thinking, if you can't have the courtesy and humanity to knock on the door at someone's house when you are obviously leaving a gift (this package was obviously that, anyone could see it), then don't work as a mail carrier. If you can't knock and take one minute extra to give someone a chance to receive their gift, unless you are being paid extra & the knock box was checked & ordered, then I feel sorry for you. No more packages sent thru the post office from here.
