- XXX.ZJan 16, 20261.0My experience at a USPS location while applying for my minor children's first US passports was unfair due to my limited English proficiency. The USPS staff treated me unfairly twice, stating that I had to bring an English-speaking family member to translate before they could assist me. This requirement is not part of the US Postal Service or passport application policy, and I felt discriminated against. Furthermore, although I arrived on time for my appointment, delays caused by the staff assisting previous customers resulted in my appointment time expiring. I was then denied service and told to reschedule, even though the delay was beyond my control.
