This is the worst post office. They are not helpful, they are not in any kind of rush, there will be a long line with one person working at the slowest speed imaginable. Save yourself.

The postal workers are kind so this isn’t a reflection on their service. This is a reflection on the absolutely terrible scheduling. Who puts ONE person in customer service between 3-5. Someone always bitching about a lunch. Most of us getting off work and rushing to post office. Also, can we have a designated person to get packages? I have never waited less than 30 minutes and it doesn’t matter how many people are in line. Customers are annoying too though and can’t seem to fill out forms or finish their packages before they get to counter. I won’t renew my PO BOX here. A waste of time. Very inefficient

One of the employees here stole several pieces of mail I sent out at this location. They all arrived with the envelopes torn open and empty and taped back up with things inside gone. I filed multiple complaints but got nothing out of it. Really upset and have not been using this location since then.

I used to come occasionally to this post office when I worked a few blocks away. The employees were OK, but not any better than other post offices in San Francisco. One plus for this post office is that there is often street parking, and a Safeway lot across the street you can use in a pinch. I stopped by with a package on Dec 29 since I had some business in the neighborhood. I decided I didn't need to stand in line as I already had postage, so just dropped it in the slot. Long story short; they didn't scan my flat mailer package into their tracking system even though I had printed the standard scannable label from online. The package wasn't delivered for 6 days (not including New Year's Day), even though it normally only takes 2 or 3 to the same address in LA. I had no idea where it was in the system, so was sweating about whether it would arrive on time for my friend's Birthday. As it was, I only got the notice it had been delivered the day after it got there. I suspect it didn't leave this office until After New Year's. ... So, if you have to drive to an SF post office, you might consider this one for the parking. However, I won't be going there again as it isn't as reliable as the Fox Plaza or Brannon Street post offices.
